Directions to Placida Beach Ferry and Parking during your stay:
From The North
From Interstate 75, take Exit #191 (old Exit #34) to Englewood. Approximately 5 miles, cross U.S. 41 onto River Road. Approximately 7 miles, turn left at light onto Pine Street, CR 775. Continue south toward Placida for approximately 9 miles. Placida Harbor, a gated community will be on your right. Stop at the guard house and give the security guard your name and check in. Pull in to the ferry loading area, unload your luggage and groceries then park your car around the rental/sales office. The ferry usually runs on time so make sure you get there on time or you will have to wait for the next ferry.
From The South
From I-75, take Exit #170 (old Exit #31), turn left onto Kings Highway. Approximately 0.3 miles turn right at the first light onto Veterans' Parkway. After approximately 7 miles you will cross U.S. 41. Veterans' Parkway turns into CR 776 when you cross U.S. 41. After traveling for about 7 miles and after crossing the bridge at El Jobean, turn left at next light onto CR 771. Continue on CR 771 for about 8 miles. You will pass Gasparilla Marina on your left. The road takes a tight turn to the right. You will pass the Boca Grande Causeway on your left. Placida Harbor, a gated community will be about a mile on your left.
